Lazy Latte Log: Irving Farm Coffee Roasters

TL;DR: ★★★

Taking a break from my rundown series, here's another Lazy Latte Log for the first time in months (I haven't forgotten!) — featuring Irving Farm Coffee Roasters.

Two lattes ($4.50 each), raspberry banana loaf (~$4), pain au chocolat ($3.95)

This hidden gem in Gramercy/Union Square (among other locations) is definitely worth a visit, especially for the pastries and lattes. Though a little pricey, I really enjoyed my smooth, luxurious cup of latte, and the raspberry banana loaf was so moist, delicious and apparently low-fat. The pain au chocolat was great too — very flaky and buttery — but I really appreciated the sort-of-unconventional combination of flavors in the loaf.

The ambiance was nice and cozy, perfect for a catch-up session with friends or a coffee date. But it can get a little noisy for those looking for a space to read and/or do work.

I'll definitely come back here, probably for lunch someday. Their salads and sandwiches looked so good!
