Rundown: What I Ate in October 2014

Ooooh, I ate a lot in October, thanks to my mom visiting! Here are the noteworthy eateries...

Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory, Brooklyn Bridge Park

THE CREAMIEST ICE CREAM EVER. One scoop (more like 2-3 scoops) is $4, and you get the best view right in front of the Brooklyn Bridge. Just like their website says, the menu is simple with relatively few options, out of which my mom and I chose vanilla chocolate chunk — divine.

Rundown: What I Ate in September 2014

As I said in my previous entry, I'll be posting super quick summaries of what I ate/drank that was noteworthy for every month I've been MIA on the blog. Here's September 2014.

Original Chinatown Ice Cream Factory, Chinatown

This was technically in August, but I'll squeeze it in here. Original Chinatown Ice Cream Factory has very creamy, smooth ice cream and interesting flavors with Asian flair. I got green tea and black sesame, and while they were both quite good, the black sesame taste was a little too strong for me. Definitely would come back, but it's slightly pricey for ice cream ($5 for two scoops).

Update: Blog Revival

My, oh my, it's been way, way too long. I've sufficiently neglected my blog for about four months now, and I'm ready to get back on the blogging wagon for the new year (happy 2015!).

But just because I stopped writing about restaurants, it doesn't mean I stopped going to them. So for the next few posts, I'll be doing a quick rundown of places I want to highlight for every month that I was absent. September 2014 will be up next, so stay tuned!
